Experience:
DJ Kevin Strange graduated from TCU in 1978 with a degree in Radio-TV-Film.
After serving an internship at KSCS FM the summer of his junior year he used
that experience to land a job full time for 2 years locally on the radio for a
different station. What radio jocking lacked was his interaction with people and
he felt a deep compulsion ingrained in in his DNA to entertain.

Doing live personal appearances at bars in the metroplex area exposed him to club jocking which he
soon found out was his forte. Seeing the instant gratification of people
packing the dance floor as a result of his mixing the beats was pure ambrosia to
feed this need. As a natural enhancement to spinning in bars, people would
ask DJ Kevin Strange to do parties which lead to operating his own
entertainment company in 1980. He operated this continuously while working
in night club venues all over DFW for the next 3 decades. The needs of his
clients have been the hallmark of this period. He offers a free consultation with
one-on-one attention to the needs of the clients. Song lists are provided so they get to choose the
music they like, without the personal taste of the DJ being imposed upon them.
Equipment:
DJ Kevin Strange's sound system is club quality with a dual 18 sub and the
twin towers of power. With over 3000 watts RMS to power these bad boys he has not played a
venue yet that was too big. His basic light show includes a starball, a
dual sphere colored effect called a mace, and an octobar armed with 8 colored
floods that pulse to the music. Over 80,000 songs are in his music database
spanning more than 40 years of hits with no deep cuts or B-sides which are all
in radio friendly edit form. Extra services available are a complete second
sound system for the ceremony with PA, and the deluxe EFX lighting package if
